The side valley
The new media art with the use of multiple contexts with a strong foundation in multidimensional thinking. The piece explores the intricaciesand multiple relationships as well as the layers between humans and nature, additionally exploring the complex perspective and notions held by people in which to observe nature. The landscape of two different sites is progressively collaged with eachother, and a new space is created with it. By showing the ambivalence of the locations of the work, the influence of human's experience and perception of space and device on the surrounding environment is explored. The project is created by integrating the real-time rendering motion graphics and projection mapping. Based on the sky and cloud simulation rendered under the control of wind speed and direction of real-time data source in Jinji Lake, they are outputted into vvvv altogether as dividedparticles of different levels. Then, it is processed through a variety of dynamic graphics technologies, and eventually the sculpture is displayed ona display screen. The act of looking up creates a wonderful connection between the audience and the installation, experiencing the cycle of life and the desire to follow nature.
